Course Description

Introduction of low dimensional nanomaterials, e.g. carbon nanotube, graphene and transition metal dichalcogenides, and the corresponding methods of synthesis and characterization. Surface and interface modification of nanomaterials. Band-structure engineering of nanomaterials. Low-dimensional Van del Waals heterostructures. Applications of electronic devices, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
