Prof. Baotian Wang from CAS visited IAPME and gave a talk on “A Combine Study of Thermoelectric Materials MgAgSb from First-principles and Neutron Scattering”. In the seminar, he presented a series of 2D materials with respect to their thermoelectric performance. Prof. Bao-Tian Wang received his Ph.D degree of theoretical physics in Institute of Theoretical Physics at Shanxi University in 2011. He joined the Institute of High Energy Physics, CAS since 2016. His research focuses on superconductors, topological systems, thermoelectric materials and actinides, using first-principles and neutron scattering. Prof. Wang has published more than 80 SCI papers with 1400+ citations, and his H-index is 23 (google scholar).
