Mr. Yang LI, a Ph.D. student of the Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering, was invited by the chairman of this conference, Prof. Shihe YANG, to attend the 12th Aseanian Conference on Nano-hybrid Solar Cells at the Shenzhen Graduate School of Peking University from 17 to 20 December 2018. His poster, titled “Improvement of Inverted Organic Solar Cells Using Acetic Acid as Additive for Zinc Oxide Layer Processing”, won the Third Prize of Best Poster Award. Additionally, his conference abstract, “Self-assembled Monolayer for Fabricating Perovskite Solar Cells with High Efficiency and Long-term Stability”, was elected as one of the 48 conference collected papers.
The 12th Aseanian Conference on Nano-hybrid Solar Cells (NHSC) was held in Shenzhen, China, from 17-20 December 2018, which had attracted more than 300 participants from all over the world including the United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao. Six out of 39 posters were awarded the Best Poster Awards and 48 abstracts were elected into the conference collected papers.
Li Yang got his B.S from Lanzhou University on pharmaceutical chemistry in 2011 and M.S from Gachon Bionano Research Institute in South Korea on Nano-physics in 2017. He has worked as a research assistant in the City University of Hong Kong and Southern University of Science and Technology. In 2018, he was the first recipient of “UM Macao PhD Scholarship” of IAPME and joined the University of Macau as a PhD student. His current research mainly focuseson perovskite-based solar cells.
