A delegation of 23 members from Associação das Empresas de Construção Civil da Região dos Vinhedos (ASCON), led by Prof. Bernardo Fonseca Tutikian and Prof. Zongjin Li (李宗津, Emeritus Professor of IAPME), visited IAPME on 2 September 2025.
Prof. Guichuan Xing and Prof. Binmeng Chen attended the reception of the visitors. During the visit, Prof. Chen firstly gave an introduction of IAPME, including the institute’s history, teaching and research areas, also achievements of IAPME. Regarding the research in IAPME, Prof. Chen detailly introduced five research areas in IAPME, including i) Photoelectric‧Electro-optical High Efficiency Conversion Materials; ii) Energy Storage and Catalytic Energy Materials; iii) Energy Saving, Environment and New Functional Materials; iv) Quantum Information and Micro-nano Technology and v) Quantum Biomedical Technology.
After that, Prof. Guoxing Sun’s research group introduced his commercialized products and showed some related videos from the research to the visitors, they were all impressed and interested in IAPME’s research outcomes. Lastly, Prof. Bernardo Tutikian from ASCON also invited IAPME members to visit their association in Brazil to have more discussions and collaborative points.
