A delegation from the Regional University-Industry Technology Transfer Center for Advanced Materials of Jiangsu Province visited IAPME to discuss potential partnerships in technology transfer and industrial application of advanced materials.
The delegation, led by Deputy Director Ms. Tiekai Zhang (張鐵鍇), was welcomed by IAPME members, Prof. Guoxing Sun, Prof. Shen Lai, Prof. Qing Li and Prof. Yinning Zhou. During the visit, Prof. Sun presented an overview of IAPME’s development history and core research competencies, highlighting successful industrial applications of technologies such as foam concrete and water-retaining agents.
Ms. Zhang elaborated on the Center’s mission to facilitate technology transfer in advanced materials, noting that “the Center’s established market channels and downstream industry networks create natural synergies with IAPME’s research capabilities.” She emphasized the complementary strengths of both institutions in bridging research innovation with commercial application. Ms. Zhang also invited IAPME researchers to visit their center in Jiangsu to advance discussions on concrete collaboration opportunities.
Both parties expressed strong commitment to developing a strategic partnership, anticipating that the combination of IAPME’s research excellence and the Center’s commercialization expertise would accelerate technology transfer and create significant impact in advanced materials development.
