The Institute of Applied Physics and Materials Engineering (IAPME) held a lecture on the development of China Spallation Neutron Source as well as its multiple applications in the fields of materials science and technology, physics, chemistry, life science, resources and environment, new energy and Chinese medicine, as part of the IAPME Lecture Series, on 24 Sept 2019. Academician Hesheng CHEN, a renowned expert in particle physics from Institute of High Energy Physics Chinese Academy of Sciences, was the keynote speaker. The talk attracted many UM faculty members, students, as well as members of the general public.
